web article database??

I want to create a web article database using
oracle 8, that can be viewed and updated by
my supervisor only.
can i store each article in a blob object and
have a table of blob objects.
then access this through a web page ? is this
the best way to go about it.

I've always been told that using largetext or blobs were not a good idea. I would insert the article title, keywords (for searching) and possibly the the path to the article in the db. Using a select and an include you can get the information you need without storing huge amounts of text in the db.
