Escaping &

Hey guys... I know I'm doing something weird just can't figure it out.....

I have a table 'username' some of the users have desided it would be great fun to use & in their name. How do i get it into the table correct and how do i search for it ?

To retrieve all rows containing & use:
select * from username where user like '%&%';

Replace the word "user" in this query with whatever the field name is of your column which contains the user names. Do you have a sample of the code you have? I don't see this causing a problem for you. Although, you should be checking the sanity of your data. Check out the following article
