Oracle via ODBC

Hi, I'm trying to access an Oracle database via ODBC.

The error I get is:
Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC driver for Oracle][Oracle]ORA-12154
: TNS:could not resolve service name, SQL state 08001 in SQLConnect in oracle
.php on line 9

I have checked my tnsnames.ora file and everything checks out fine, more to the point when I use anything other than PHP I can connect to the same service name via ODBC without a problem. I have tried this on more than one local PC and one server PC with the same results.

Hi,

I've just find the thing to do.... !!!!

the 3rd parameter you must give is not the SID but the name of the Service...

It is probably XXXX.world

where XXXX is the SID.
