Can you tell me what is wrong with these query, it tells me ERROR 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AM/FM portátil, RadioShack, 120-0811, 299, 020502, 020602)' at line 1
on the following query
insert into productos (no_catalogo, nombre, precio, costo, descripcion, marca, modelo, precio_promocion, inicio_promo, fin_promo) values (120-0811, 'Radio Deportivo AM/FM con Audifonos', 299, 250, Radio AM/FM portátil, RadioShack, 120-0811, 299, 020502, 020602);

I find it a good rule of thumb to always place \' before and after the value you are trying to insert.

ie.

(\'120-0811\', \'Radio Deportivo AM/FM con Audifonos\', \'299\', \'250\', \'Radio AM/FM portátil\', \'RadioShack\', 1\'20-0811\', \'299\', \'020502\', \'020602\');

Will work.

do not include the \' the board put that in.

gee thanks, so what can tell me what to put if I have variables instead of literals, ie.
mysql_query($db, "insert into productos (noproducto text) values ($message)", $conn);

So what happens if I have commas in one of the variables, I.E
Up in my code instead of saying
Radio Deportivo AM/FM con Audifonos
it said
Radio Deportivo, AM/FM, con Audifonos
