SQL HELP ASAP

Hey I need some major help ASAP on SQL. I am going to be calling a Microsoft SQL database from another server half way accross the U.S. How do I go about that? I have no idea how to tackle this thing and really need some help here. Thanks in advance.

and it's a good thing the server isn't the whole way across America, you might not be able to do it!

Have you searched for other messages. There's bound to be some addressing remote access of a database. I'd have just thought you would give the host url and be off running.
