I've used PHP and mySQL for a number of web projects. Now I'm faced with one that will have between 10,000 - 15,000 hits a day, mostly occuring during business hours.
Is mySQL feasible for this load? Or should I be thinking of something else? The database and pages will run on the same server. I know of mySQL's limits (no stored procedures, no transactions, etc.) This doesn't concern me, what does though is the amount of concurrent hits it will receive.
