can i load data from client-side?

I have developed web application for our intranet database, and I have no problem displaying the data from db up on the web, but have problem loading data from client side?

We are using Windows NT, and all the computers are in network neighborhood. I tried to use web application to load datafile from other computer, not from the db server,and it wsn't working.

Can anyone help me, please...

Do you have DNS setup correctly? Also your DB username and password if not setup correctly may cause problems querying from other PC's on a network.
