Vb-Mysql connectivity

Hello I am Prashant B Kulkarni
I am developing client-server software,using vb-mysql(database). I am not able to get the connectivity vb and mysql which is installed in linux server in the remote system.

Vb is client program and trying to access the database(mysql) from the remote server.I need to have a dsn less connection for program.

Cann anybody could help me in geeting this connectivity.

I will be thankfull for the reply to this message or any solution for the above

you might need to find MyODBC, which allows ODBC connectivity for MySQL...check with

www.mySQL.com
