Error in dump database

Hello!!!

I have a nice problem, pg_dump give me an error quen I intend to make a dump o table that has more than 3 millions of registers.

O message that I recieve is KILLED, and the output file has 0 size. In MySQL I have the same problem, with mysql_dump.

I used a Pentium IV processor, 1.7 GHZ, 256 RAM, and Conectiva Linux 7.0

you might try the following command to speed up your processing even more (to prevent the timeout):

mysqldump --opt
