Date Format

Hello...

I got a a field in my Database in the following format "dd-Mon-yy" (i.e, 01-Jun-02) defined as Varchar... how I can change the format to be compatible with Mysql Date type (i.e, 2002-01-02). The new format will be stored in a new field.

Hmm...

Could you create a new date field, then make a loop that goes through each "old" date and reformats it and updates the record by putting the newly reformatted date into the "new" date field?
