Hello, i need a free host that supports PHP on theyre server.. does anyone know of a host that is free? If so, please post the site here. Thank you

But my caution is they just got a new server and nothing is working and hassn't been for the last few weeks! I need to get in but I can't! 🙁 But ift hey ever start working again there free.

I tried all the free sites when I first started, and for my money, you are much better off paying a few bucks.
I have 4 sites I pay for and the best, (and also the lowest price) is only $15 per year for 150 meg with PHP4 or $35 per year for 500 meg with MySql, PHP and PHPmyadmin.

You will need your own site name, but you can get that at godaddy for $9 per year.

I normally don't advertise for other companies, but these guys have virtually NO downtime and great tech support.

From my experience, the PHPmyAdmin service alone is worth the money.

I also use another service that has MySql and PHP. They only charge $2.99 per month, but they have way to much down time, and I wouldn't recomend them to anyone.

I guess it's all down to what you want to use your site for.

If the site is commercial you want the bandwidth, uptime associated with a commercial host.

If you're just tooling around with non-profit & vanity sites then the downtime associated with a free site is ok.

I pay $NZ25 a month for my hosting which is about US$10 a month and it's worth every penny for the stability I get.

As a side note, it's easy to install phpMyAdmin yourself as long as you have access to mysql. I've done it a few times for hosting companies that had outdated versions or nothing at all.
