I wonder is anyone out there has experience on this :-
I has Oracle 7.x as Database server for my internal database, and another server running RH 7.1 and PHP 4.2.1 with OCI8 enabled. The problem is when i tried to run the same query under PHP and Visual Basic using ODBC, PHP tooks 3 minutes to execute the query but Visual Basic only took 4 seconds.
What is the possible problem or switches that i need to alter to increase this issue.
