I explain better: i'd like to start using databases
but before buying some space from a DB space provider. I' dlike to learn more using a free access database...

mySQL.very very good. also check out http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpMyAdmin/index.html for an excellent interface written in php. I started out using access and asp but i'm a total convert to the php/mysql combo now.
