How are you connecting to the database? What database are you using? How much data are you pulling out of the database? what exactly does the page show?
Don't just throw the code for the whole page up here, either. Show us how your doing each part...or the parts that you think are slowing down the page. maybe a link to a working copy would be a good idea.
And finally, learn how to ask questions. give enough information so someone can answer you...
