clear database

is there a way to delete all the tables in a database, but keep the database still there?

delete from table;

That will delete all of the records. You'll have to do it for each table you have.

Its ok steven but
is there any command through which i can delete all records and as well as all the tables under database,but database remain same .

i have already tried
drop database <databasename>
this will delete database as well as all table under database.
