MYSQL+ACCESS+VB

I am designing a database using mysql and access. All my tables are in mysql. I link all the tables with access and it worls.
I have problem, I wrote code in VBA to update my database. In this case I am getting error that says I cant my database. I dont know why. Could you please reply me if you know why I am getting this message.

From my understanding from others answers I've recieved about this is that a Unix/Linux server cannot use VB code. But a question for you is how did you link the databases from Access to MySQL?

Thank you for your reply. I link with odbc using myodbc driver. Yes mysql is in linux and access is in windows 98. Can you please tell me have to update my database. Basically what I have to do the following. We have many customer and they have to pay for their product. The payment date should be equal to Activevationdate (which they bought the product date ) + the billing term. First time it is okay to calculate but second and following times I have to use the code to calculate. If you know how to do this on mysql can you please tell me about
