We have a need for a PHP, pgSQL programmer. The work can be done
offsite (We are in Washington DC so they can work from home if they'd
like).
We really need someone who can quickly finish up a small project that
we have on the table; Even if they work part time from home.
The project tasks are listed below. A few tables have already been
created using postgres. Please let us know if you are available to work,
if you think that you could complete tasks number 5 and 6 (number 6 is more
important) by August 9.

The pgSQL database has already been created with a few PHP modules for
performing queries. The following work should be done using PERL or PHP
and pgSQL. Here is a general description of what the web application
will have to do :
- The application will generate logins and passwords that are easier to
remember than the current logins for members (maybe have the members
choose their own passwords). The form could be something like this:
login:
password:
new password :
new password (confirm) :
- Expired members (who haven't paid membership fees) should not be able
to access members area of web site
Expired members will not come up in marketplace
Near expiration date, members will automatically be e-mailed with a
reminder
Marketplace businesses should be able to add and update their own
information within the marketplace.
Users should be able to search marketplace by various criteria or
browse the marketplace by category.
Search by:
name
city
state
The listing should come up in a table format and have the ability to
show a marketplace member's name, address, phone number, category, logo,
and web address (as a link).

web interface
