file upload when clicking submit

hello there if you try and run my script..

its the script to upload an image..

and you will see it brings up the error..
Warning: File Upload Error - Unable to open temporary file [/var/tmp/phpm55566] in Unknown on line 0

does anyone know what to change on the server side of things for this to work??

You might need to give yourself the necessary rights on that directory. You are probably missing the right to write to that directory and hence your script is unable to open an uncreated file
