is there any tutorial that is GOOD for explaining databases ?
i am new to PHP and can't get databases

I've found the postgresql tutorial (just a database tutorial) to be quite nice for beginners. It's probably harder for most people to install postgres than it is to run through the tutorial, and installing is pretty easy on systems like redhat or mandrake.
