Connecting to oracle

I use iis with php and oracle 8 on to different winNT-boxes.

After switching to php4, I suddenly gets the 12154-error. If I switch back to php3 everything works...

Any sugestions?

12154 is an oracle error saying it can't find your tnsnames.ora file or that your call to the database cannot be found in the tnsnames.ora.

Try setting the environment variables ORACLE_HOME=youroraclehome and
TNSADMIN=yourdirectorywheretnsnames.orais

If all else fails try copying the tnsnames.ora file into your dir with the php script (Just to test that the tnsnames.ora is good and the problem being php4 cannot find it)
