i install mysql+php+apache as a server on a linux platform ,how to connect to my remote server with win98 at home?
Well, you could ssh or telnet in and do it the command line way if you are a masochist, but I would reccommend either phpMyAdmin, a web base solution freely available at: http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpMyAdmin/ or there is a win32 GUI app called mascon that will work if you have the right ports available on the server at: http://www.scibit.com/Products/Software/Utils/Mascon.htm
