Temporary Recordsets

Is it possible to create a new recordset object, and add, sort, and delete data on the fly?

I have a log file, and want to import the contents of the log into a temporary recordset so I can generate stats and sort the data.

Any help would be appreciated.

look at the "create table" command syntax. it can create a temporary table and pull the data into the temp table.

typically you can do most of your sorting and statistics using sql with the current dataset
