Trying to connect to MySQL db

But I get this error:

How can I fix this?

I need to link a simple databse to a website (from a free web space host) but the problem is that with these free hosts they say that they so not allow ASPs or CGI.

So how can i link a databse to a website?!?

you need to get a few web space provider that also gives you CGI, ASP or PHP. They do exists! Have a search.
