I have mysql server installed in win98.
I have a lan connection peer in win98 and want to connect to the server from the remote machine. the remote machine also uses win98.
I have mysql drivers for windows. Is it possible?

you should be able to use the DB on one machine and the webserver on another machine on the same LAN without problems. If you set up PHPMyAdmin on your machine you can use that webinterface to manage your MySQL DB acrosss your LAN. Use your computer's LAN IP addresses.
