The other thing is I logged into mysql through telnet and was trying to delete that way.
I would
select sel_item from user_track;
I would get something like

so i would then type:
DELETE FROM user_track WHERE
sel_item='B202Q-DC';
It would spit out :
Query ok, 0 rows affected (0.01 sec)
But it wouldnt delete it from the table and I really dont know why not,
I thought this was the proper statement to remove a record but I guess not
