Converting Access to MySQL?

Hi everyone. I have a client who has an Access database of water quality testing that they maintain. I'd like to convert the database to a MySQL. Any advice? Or can I just have them upload the db and I can pull from it using PHP?

not 100% but i'd think you could pull it across using odbc or export from Access the data as a .csv (comma seperated values) file.

OK, maybe this is a stupid question (OK, it IS a stupid question), but how do I pull from a .csv file instead of a MySQL database?

I don't have telnet access to my server, so conversion to MySQL from Access is probably not doable (and, as y'all can probably tell, I'm a PHP and DB newbie).

Check out http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpMyAdmin/ for amysql front end. it will allow you to import csv files over the internet
