dbase4 printing on a win98 system

We have just migrated dbase4 to a NT4.0 server. The clients are running Win 98. When a print operation is initiated, the immediate response is "printer not ready" and "_pform='TROUBLE'". The printers are mapped to LPT1 via a net use command. The printers are on-line and available. Small jobs print fine (less than 2 pages) large jobs get this error immediately.

Any Ideas as to what the cause may be? Win NT 4.0 clients do not experience this problem.

Ya know, half of the PHP folks here probably weren't even born when dBase was created, and those of who were can't remember it anyway. I don't know how you stumbled into this forum, nor--alas--can a steer you toward someplace that might be able to give you dbase advice. Sorry.
