odbc paradox driver

every time I want to access my dsn with the paradox driver I get the followin messageWarning: SQL error: [Microsoft][Controlador ODBC Paradox] The extern table doesn't has the expected format., SQL state S1000 in SQLExecDirect in c:\archivos de programa\apache group\apache\htdocs\odbc.php on line 14

The problem I had was that I didn't had the paradox engine running, I just installed it again and it worked

I think that the latest odbc driver for paradox y 5, but u can try using the lates version of rdo from microsoft, just search on the main page for odbc, and go to downloads

i found this :

"This problem will occur because the Paradox ODBC driver only supports access to Paradox version 3.5 (and earlier) files. Thus, when the driver attempts to access a 4.0 file it appears that the file is protected. Users have stated that Paradox version 5 should have a new ODBC driver and will be fully ODBC compliant.

To circumvent the problem the 4.0 file will have to be converted to 3.5 format or you will need to aquire Paradox version 5. "
