I've had to start using my laptop for a while which has windows 98, apache and php3 and mysql. When I first started up the laptop apache was working...then I went and looked at the httpd.conf file to change the root directory for the htdocs.... and then the next time I tried to start apache I got a brief flash of the dos window and then it disappeard.........now it doesn't start?
I completely un-installed and then re-installed apache and it still does the same thing.
I remember reading about someone else having this problem but I think their post was lost in the phpbuilder crash.
Anyone got any ideas?
