Complicated Installation.

I need to have these software packages working..

Apache 1.3.12
mod_ssl
OpenSSL
PHP 4
Zend Optimizer
Jserv or Tomcat

FrontpageExtensions2k
mysql

on a server running
Red Hat Linux release 6.1
Kernel 2.2.12-20smp on an i686

with gcc (egcs-1.1.2 release)

I dont know whether to use DSO or SO..
can some one point me in the right direction? Thanks

I just finished a very similar installation.

I have apache 1.3.12, openssl, mod_ssl, php4, jserv and cold fusion all working together on a slackware 7 linux box.

Most definitly use DSO. This makes upgrades so much easier.

If you read the install file that comes with mod_ssl, it should have everything you need in it. Just follow the directions. Well you should be able to leave off the mm library.
