WinNT + Apache + PHP4pl2

ARGH!!!

Apache installs fine, but PHP4 doesn\'t work!!! I\'ve a a folder \webserver in C: with folders \php4 and \apache. I copied the dlls into \winnt\system32, now what do I have to do? Just add lines to httpd.conf? Is that all I have to do to config Apache?

What exactly do I have to add for PHP4pl2? I am confused because most of the tutorials are for PHP3...

I run a webserver on an intranet with exactly that setup.

It's a good idea to ignore the PHP setup information when installing pl2 on NT with Apache.

Make a php4 folder in your C: drive root, and unzip the php4pl2 into it. Rename the ini-dist file .ini, and edit it. KEEP EVERYTHING IN THAT FOLDER.

Edit your srm.conf file in Apache to point to the new folder for .php4 files, and restart the server.

That should work fine (it does for me!)

Do I really have to install in C: drive root if I can point all the directives properly?
What do I have to edit for ini-dist and add for srm.conf?
For PHP 4, is this all I need: (from devshed.com)
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
What\'s the common extension for php4? .php4 or php?
But in php3 manual, they says these 4 lines are needed:
ScriptAlias /php3/ \"c:/path-to-php-dir/\"
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .phtml
Action application/x-httpd-php3 \"/php3/php.exe\"

Afterall, I am confused which lines should I add.
