Installing PHP4 under PWS

I would love to learn PHP but before I can start I need to get it running. I currently have Win98 & PWS installed and have downloaded PHP4 but I can't find any advice on installing PHP4 (every article I have found explains how to install PHP3). Iam a complete novice at PHP so is there any idiot proof instructions on how to do this?

My suggestion would be to download the Apache win binary and install PHP4 and run it under Apache. This method is much more stable than PWS (and I've run it in both).

The distribution zip file (mine is php-4.0.1pl2-Win32.zip) contains a readme.txt that explains everything.
