PHP 4.0.1pl2 upgrade problems on IIS5

I'm running IIS5 on Win2k, and when I tried to update my version of PHP from 4.0.0 to 4.0.1pl2, I ran into a problem. Basically, I stopped the webserver, extracted the new php binaries, and when I tried to start the webserver again, IIS hung. I've also tried reinstalling IIS, and readding the script mapping, but that hung IIS when it tried to start up PHP.

Are there any changes I need to make to the php.ini, or perhaps some things I forgot?

Delete the old php.ini,
use the php.ini in 4.0.1pl2.
Reconfig IIS5.
If IIS5 hung again,
there will be only one thing you can do:
Reinstall the IIS5

I have the same problem with you.
And when i do as "Jett Liu" told. Php still not works.
Now can you run php?.
If you can please let me know how to solve it?

Nope, that doesn't fix the problem. Have you guys installed service pack 1 yet?
