hi,

I had Apache + PHP3 + Mysql up and running perfectly on my windows system utill now 🙁

I did a format and now when I installed apache and php , as soon as I load a PHP3 file in teh browser apache gives an error that odbc32.dll is missing.

first of all this file has never been missing before and I thought it was a standard windows file.. but ok, I found a odbc32.dll on my other system and copied it into windows/system and now when i load a php3 page it starts loading it and keeps loading. Browser says website found but stays like that all the time ... while its a local server so should load it imediately.

could someone plz help me I never had these problems before and alwayes installed it sucsessfully without having to copy any odbc32.dll file. Do i have no clue what is different this time 🙁

    Hi there,

    its funny but the exactly the same happend to me yesterday. I installed Windows again and every time I start PHP it complains about ODBC32.dll !!

    I really don't know what exactly this archive is and where it was supposed to come from in the first place. Could anyone clear me up about this?

      Well, here I am again.

      It seems the file was installed together with
      the Microsoft Office 2000 program. DOW!
