Hi,
there are two ways (I didn't test the first, but the second works):
(1) use freetds (www.freetds.org)
It's totally free. Install it and
compile php with sybase-ct support
--with-sybase-ct=<path to freetds>.
You might need to use the --with-sybase
switch instead of --with-sybase-ct but
I don't know exactly which one is the
right.
(2) You can use one of these
ODBC-ODBC bridges (www.openlink.com or
www.easysoft.com)
I tested it with the easysoft ODBC-ODBC
bridge and it worked. Easysoft bundles
unixODBC. You have to install a server
on your NT machine and a client on the
linux machine. Then compile php with
unixODBC support and setup an odbc.ini
file and your environment (ODBCINI
UDBCINI ODBCINSTINI).
The ODBC-ODBC bridges are very expensive (between 500$ and thousands of dollars)
