Does PHP4 run on Red Hat 5.1?

Hi,

I've been trying to install PHP 4 in a Red Hat 5.1 machine, but my ISP told me it won't run OK, I'd need a more recent version of the OS. I personally think that the claim is bogus, and I'm suspicious they're trying to force me to upgrade just to charge me more...

My question is: has anyone been running PHP 4 on a RH 5.1 successfully?
