PHP3 has worked well as the module of apache on my machine--manderake 7.1,but I want install PHP4.0, I think someone could do me a favor ! (more details ..)
I upgraded my boxes at work, and for the most part couldn't even tell the difference, except I had all these new commands to use from now on.
I'd suggest trying it on a test box first before converting a live production box.
