install problem

I have php3, Apache and mysql installed already on win98. I just installed php4.
php3 executes scripts like .php3 whereas php4 is set up to use .php, it looks fine but when I try to call a script I get

"The requested URL /php4/php.exe/phpinfo.php was not found on this server."

any ideas before I kick progression in the face?

What is php.exe... a folder or the exe... if it the exe then you are calling the script wrong

php.exe is the executable, the script is just a phpinfo thingy

and I'm getting it from the address bar in netscape, the same way I do for php3.
I think it's something in apaches httpd.conf

have you altered your httpd.conf at all in apache? - if not add..
