upgrade ..make install (nothing to be done for...)

Hello,

I am trying to upgrade from php 4.0RC2 to php 4.0.2 and after I compile and type make install it keeps saying...

nothing to be done for...

I am guessing something from my previous install is causing this, some way to override this? and force the install, or a way to uninstall the old version first?
