SSL Connection Problems

This isn't entirely PHP-related, but we're using all PHP so perhaps it is. Our secure server seems to be acting up. Netscape rarely makes a connection to it -- connection reset by peer problems. Then IE has problems probably 1 in every 7 requests, where it says the page can't be found. The log file says error 11 (seg fault). We figured it might be the hardware, but they swapped both RAM and CPU and it's still acting up. Any ideas why this might be happening, and a solution?

Seg 11 is normally down to hardware or even lack of memory.

IE5.x does have a few bugs related to SSL but this is not your problem.

Try a fresh install of apache, run top to see whats going on.

How much memory do you have free etc....
