that´s what i saw the first time i called the example
this exmple creates a file -> look, if the user who runs httpd has enough rights to create files in that directory
in my case it worked
make shure not to use any textfunction for the first tests -> my system creates animations, but segmentation faults if any text-funkton is called
still seeking for the error
the example swftest provided by the libswf-package creates text-animations ... still no idea
