PHP and MS-SQL Speed

Hi,

Hope someone can help.

I've installed PHP3 on IIS4 linking to MS-SQL7. Everything works fine, but when I try to connect to the SQL database, it takes 5-7 seconds before it connects and processes the query.

Any ideas?

Are the IIS and SQL on the same server?
