php4 oci8(oracle) ldap not working together

Having trouble with ldap and oci8 working together. If i include ldap in configure, it works fine. If i include ldap and oci8, ldap will not work, but oci8 works just fine.

System - i386 redhat 6.2 php4.03pl1

If anyone has ldap and oci8 working together, please let me know how you did it.

I had the same problem linking with oci8 and OpenLDAP. I've got it compiled as a static Apache module.

The problem is the link order of the libraries. You have to get the LDAP modules before the Oracle libraries or it tires to use the Oracle libraries for LDAP.
