Web-hosts who do not provide PHP / MySQL support

Hello everyone,

There are good free web-hosting services like crosswinds.net ( Unlimited space ) etc. who do not provide PHP and MySQL support.

In such cases how can we go about installing
PHP and MySQL on our site on Crosswinds.net.

You can't. The host MUST support it, you just can't install it yourself on THEIR server.

With the increase in processing power and memory usage required to run any scripting languages, I personally doubt that free hosting places like Crosswinds.net will be willing to do that anytime soon on a member-wide basis since it'll cost them a bit (and since they are free, costs could hit them a bit hard).

How about looking for a free hosting service that does support PHP and MySQL. They are there...keep looking.

I use fusioncity. It's only 10 bucks a month for php, perl, and mysql on request. Plus you get email accounts like [e-mail]. I really think it's worth the 10 bucks a month for the increased reliablity of a paid host.
