Can't run Apache+PHP3++Oracle on RH Linux 6.2 !!!!

Hi,

Here is my situation:

I want to use 2 boxes: one dedicated box for webserver, one for oracle 8.1.6 DB. I think my compilation should be ok and the boxes run except that it ran very very slowly. Pages loaded with data from DB took 30 secs to finish loading and finally show on screen. Does anyone know what the problem is? Configuration problems? How exactly to configure? WOuld u pls help?
