I just wanted to know if you can install Linux on a machine that is currently running Win98, without having to install another HD, etc.
If so..will I be force to somehow make a partition in my current drive for the Linux install or what?
Thanks!
This can be done. You have to have Win98 on different partition of the HD from the one that Linux is installed on and then you have to setup Lilo to let you boot those systems. You can find a more detailed instruction in HOWTO section of the http://www.linuxdocs.org site.
any way you have to make a partition on the hdd.
