make hangs! Please help

The problem is that when I do the make it hangs, it does nothing after a while. The configure will go fine. I am configure like so:
./configure --with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql/ --with-apxs=/usr/local/apache/bin/apxs
This is on a sun ultra 5, with solaris 2.7. I have had php on this machine before, but had to rebuild apache with ssl and now this. If anyone had any idea please let me know!

For php version 4.0.3pl1:

Remove every line from ext/standard/url_scanner_ex.c which have
'#line' in the beginning.

                  This 'bug' is fixed in future releases/snapshots.
