I have a dilemma that one of you may be able to help with. I have a client that I am designing for. The issue is which platform should I develop on?
Here is the setup ( I didn't design this btw):
NT 4.0 SP5, Proxy Server 2.0, and SendMailNT 2.5 on same box.
I do know that upgrading to IIS 4 will break Proxy Server 2.0 and a reinstall should fix. I don't know what effect the option pack will have on SendMailNT 2.5. Furthermore, I will probably want to upgrade MDAC regardless.
PHP 4 on IIS 3.0 should give me no problems that I'm aware of, but there are always unknowns. However, I haven't operated PHP on IIS 3.0, so I'm not sure. Secondly, is PHP going to perform as well on IIS 3.0?
Can anyone give me their personal advise as which to proceed with.
