Is it because of my PHP settings?

Hi,
I'm having a problem. I've downloaded the phpmyadmin scripts but whenever I use it, there is always get this errors: -

Warning: Use of undefined constant XXXX_XXXX - assumed 'XXXX_XXXX' in script.php on line XXX

The script still works but i keep getting these nagging warning message. Is it because of my settings?

I'm using PHP 4.0.3pl1 running as CGI on my WIN98 and PWS4.0

I really hope you guys could help

Well, I have the same problem too in php 4.0.3pl1...
If you change error_reporting ti
E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE the message will go away but I would realy like to know why it does this... It doesn't in most the builds I've tried.
