php script with .html extension

Hello,

I want my php-scripts with a filename that has a .html extension and changed

this 'AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php3 .html'

in my httpd.conf. However if I do this all browsers want to download my .html files. I can't see any reason why this doesn't work.

Any suggestions apprecited!

PHP is server side, not client side, so the person's browser should not affect this at all. Make sure you have correctly added the file type.
